  1. I MADE UP THE LAST BLOG PLEASE CHECK IT THANK YOU!
1)I think a reasonable reason would be adultry. i dont beleive in a moment of weakness, if you really loved me you wouldnt have any moments of weakness.
2)positive:it gives a chance for the people to start over with there lives and make better choices.
Negative:if there are children involved of course is puts a strain on them. the parents may feel abandoned by loved ones and go into deep depressions.
3)I think sometimes it is necessary. some people jump into things way earlier than they need to and it can be better and or safer for them to get out than to stay.
4)i dont see why divorce would be a benefit or and non-benefit to society i think marraige is a very personal thing and the ending of one should be the same.
5)lol! i hope not! i want to make the right choice the first time so that i dont have to go through the stress or the hurt or the pain of a divorce that could very well get very ugly.so no.Im gonna make the right choice the first time.

  2. 1.) A legitmate reasons to get a divorce is if there is an physical abuse involved, or if cheating is involved. If you can't work these things out no matter what you do (counseling, talking, ect) a divorse may be your only option.

2.) Positive effects are you can start over and meet new people. all the problems and fighting are over.
Negative effects are greater. if you have kids divorse effects the kids. money is an issue and splitting things up. Not to mention the stress on the family, parents and kids.

3.) When you get married you make a promise to God and a promise to your partner to spend the rest of your life with them. Getting a divorse breaks this promise. i believe you can work things out in most cases, but in some cases its necessary.

4.) Divorse creates jobs for lawyers and creats an opportunity for a new house to be bought. but it teaches future generations that promises don't mean too much.

5.) I don't think i will ever get a divorse. When i get married i will make sure that the man i marry is the right one. if we have marriage problems i will do everything i can to make it work. i will stay faithful and loyal.

  3. 1.) What are legitmate reasons to get a divorce? If the couple is no longer in love with each other, then it is probably best to divorce.
2.) What are the positive and negative effects of divorce? You can date again, however, until you find someone special you might have to spend holidays and your birthday alone.
3.) How do you personally feel about divorce? Explain. I'm okay with it, seeing as how i had to deal with it at a very young age.
4.) Do you think divorce is a benefit to society? Explain. Personally, no i don't think it benefits society. I think that the more couples that get divorced, the worse society looks as a whole. I think it makes us look as though we are unable to seriously commit to anything.
5.) Do you think you will get a divorce someday? Why or Why not?

  4. 1.) Legitmate reasons to get divorced are: if you are in an abusive relationship, if cheating is/has been going on, if the said couple no longer loves each other, or if the said couple's relationship is harmful to their children in any way.
2.) Positive: if the relationship was abusive or if there was cheating involved, divorce is an oppotunity to get out of all of that and start again.
Negative: Divorce may strain the children; splitting things up may pose as a difficulty; and financial means of a divorce can sometimes be high.
3.) While divorce is often over dramatisized in movies, television shows, and not to mention regular press, I think that divorce is sometimes inevitable. Some situations call for it. It is a benefit for some but a downfall for others.
4.) To individuals, yes, but to society as a whole? Not particularly. It is a personal thing that creates jobs and such for others. Divorce may not make society look fantastic (since now, so many more people are getting divorced) but it's always been around. Even 40 years back it happened, it was just more of a taboo. Nowadays divorce is common, just a single part of our complicated society.
5.) I would hope not! Haha. I, of course, would like to think that I'll be careful with my decision on who I marry, and make sure it's the right choice. But since divorce is quite common in my family, it could happen.

  5. 1.) What are legitmate reasons to get a divorce?
If you are being cheated on, your being harmed, or one parent is harming your child, or maybe your just no longer in love.

2.) What are the positive and negative effects of divorce?
Positive- If your kids were harmed or you, or anything I listed again, then the positive side is you get out of that harmful enviornment.
Negative- May cause dress on you or your children, have to worry about other things, like who has to live where, worry about money etc.

3.) How do you personally feel about divorce? Explain.
I'm okay with it. I think that if you need to get a divorce then you should.

4.) Do you think divorce is a benefit to society? Explain.
No, not really. I don't think what inviduals do, like getting a divorce is benefit to others.

5.) Do you think you will get a divorce someday? Why or Why not?
I would hope not, I would like to get married & stay married. But in today's society, getting a divorce is very common. So, therefore it could deff. happen to me.

    1. if you are cheated on, abused, or if you dont love that person anymore.
    2. Negatives: without love haha
positives: if you were hurt in anyway then you are freed of that :)
    3. I think if you are not happy with how things are then it is fine. but if you still love that person then you should maybe try and work it out for the kids:)
    4. No, not a benefit because some kids that have divorced patents have trouble at school or even out of school so no.
    5. To be honest the future can never be told. i hope to get married on day and hopefuly stay happy and in love but if that doesnt last then yes i will get a divorce bc im not gonna be in a relationship that i am not happy in.

  7. 1)in extreme cases where there is violence, or sexual abuse.

2)it can potentially save someone's life or prevent further harm to a parter who has gone through extreme abuse, but it can also affect the couple's children

3)i dont really agree with divorce, i believe couples should face all problems that come with the parter THEY chose to be with, and people should be smart enough to be able to choose a compatible parter before they marry.

4)no. it causes there to be uncompleted families everywhere, and can also help spread STDs haha. :P

5)no, the reason being that hopefully i will be smart enough to choose a partner with whom i will be able to deal with problems and by doing so strenghtening the bond between us.

  8. 1.) What are legitmate reasons to get a divorce?
If your spouse commited adultry and/or you are being abused.
2.) What are the positive and negative effects of divorce?
    - It's a very stressful process.
    - If you have kids it's very hard on them.
    - You might lose custody of your kids.
    - You'll lose some money/your house/etc.
+ In the long run you'll probably be happier without this person.
+ Hopefully you'll learn from your mistakes!

3.) How do you personally feel about divorce?
I don't really agree with divorce unless there is abuse or cheating involved, but ofcourse it still happens for other reasons. People these days don't take "Til death do us part" as seriously as they should.
4.) Do you think divorce is a benefit to society? Explain.
Benefit? No. As I listed above there are many negative side effects to divorce and a few positive.
5.) Do you think you will get a divorce someday?
No. When I say "Til death do us part" I will mean it. I'm not gonna rip my family apart like my parents did ours. I want my kids to grow up in a home that shows there is still true love in this world you just have to wait for te right person instead of marrying the first guy you see.

  9. 1) Appropriate reasons for a divorce to occur would include domestic violence, sexual abuse, child neglect, crime that leads to one's imprisonment, severe drug addictions, alcoholism, verbal abuse, or committing adultry.
    2) Divorce can benefit a household if a child caught in the middle of the parent's disagreements no longer has to experience the trouble. Divorce could also be an advantage to the couple if they are no longer miserable while being in the marriage. Negative effects of divorce would involve a child living in a broken home, and living the lifestyle of back and fourth between parents.
3)I believe divorce is an unfortunate option in marriage, especially as the divorce rate increases over each generation (I've heard that the divorce rate is practically more than 50% in today's society.) I don't think I could ever handle my parents getting a divorce; all I've ever known is my parents being happily married, and if it were any other way I'd be completely devastated.
    4) I don't see how divorce could be a benefit to our society. I mean, why would we want to encourage divorce? With every couple that divorces, it gives the youth the idea that there's no hope or reason to ever committing into marriage. Not only does it negatively influence young adults, it also hurts friends/family of society to see two people fall apart.
5)I do not see myself getting a divorce someday, because I don't see myself jumping into marriage until after a very long time of knowing somebody. You should [know] without any doubt in your mind that a lifetime committment with "the one" is definitely what you want. You should also know the person you'd be marrying better than you know yourself, 115%. Right?

  10. 1.) What are legitmate reasons to get a divorce?
Some legitmate reasons of getting a divorce could be that your husband could be a jerk and controlling. He could be manipulative. You could have money issues and not be able to take care of your life.
2.) What are the positive and negative effects of divorce?
Nagative affects of divorce is that you may become depressed or alone. You may not know what exactly to do with yourdself.
Positive affects of divorce could be that you can start over fresh and new. Maybe when you divorce you two can change things and than maybe be able hold a marriage after fixing things this your significant other you divorced, you never know.
3.) How do you personally feel about divorce? Explain.
I think that if you have done all you can and still know change maybe divorce is your only option.
4.) Do you think divorce is a benefit to society? Explain.
No. Because I think a divorce is something personal and it should not be encouraged.

5.) Do you think you will get a divorce someday? Why or Why not?
I really don't know. Whatever happens happens I guess.

  11. 1) Some legitimate reasons to get a divorce are cheating, abuse, or they become somebody you did not marry (like a mass murderer).
    2) Some positive effects of divorce are to get away from abuse and not having to put up with them anymore. Some negative effects of divorce are when your wife takes all your money in the divorce or when she takes the kids and you do not get to see them again.
    3) I think if you truely do not like the person anymore you should get a divorce. There is no point in being misserable your whole life when you could just leave them.
    4) I think it is because you do not have to stay with an abusive, cheating, spouse. It is not always a benefit to society when it comes to the children though.
    5) No, because I am going to marry for love not lust.

  12. 1.) What are legitmate reasons to get a divorce?

Abuse, cheating, or if the relationship has a negative or harmful affect on other aspects of your life.

2.) What are the positive and negative effects of divorce?

Positive-you will be happier without that person
Negative-if you don't have a prenup then your spouse could get half of everything, some people feel it's not good to date someone already divorced, employers may see it as you are uncommitted

3.) How do you personally feel about divorce? Explain.

If you really can't stand your spouse and it changes who you are as a person then i believe it is definitely necessary to get a divorce. I believe it does has more negative effects than positive but sometimes it is just necessary.

4.) Do you think divorce is a benefit to society? Explain.

No because if it is so common people may begin to think of it as the norm so they will not take marriage as seriously, when marriage is supposed to be for life.

5.) Do you think you will get a divorce someday? Why or Why not?

If it is necessary i will. I can't predict the future but i will be very careful in choosing who i marry and especially careful in choosing who i have kids with. However, people do change and it is possible that i would get a divorce someday.

  13. 1.Abusive, cheating, lieing, etc.
2.Positive knowing your going to be with the person you want to spend the rest of your life with;negative goin through all the problems that person has.
3.I feel like if you know that you cant deal with peoples problems and them and what comes with them.
4.No, People dont take marriage seriously.
5.No, i know i will not because i can deal with my future spouse because i feel that you have to be with that person for a long time and just imagine what life would be like if certain people was married.

  14. 1.) If you ask me there isn't really any excuse to get a divorce that is unless your spouse is abusing you.
2.) I don't think there are any postives out of divorces, other than the fact that if that spouse was abusive then you could finally get away.
3.) I don't like it. It ruined my family.
4.) Yes and no. Because it helps in some ways but not others.
5.) No, because I am anti-divorce, I know what a divorce can do to children. I will never get myself into an abusive relationship.

    ReplyDelete
  15. 1. cheating, abuse, sexual abuse
    2. positive could be no more abuse or something if that was the problem, and negatve would be that it effects the kids if they have them.
    3. I personaly don't like it because it can really effect the kids, and I would know seeing as how my parents divorced when i was 6 i think. but yeah it was hard for me because i diddn't want my dad to go and i diddn't really know why he was leaving, the whole thing was just really confusing and upsetting for me.
    4. It can be but it happens to much
    5. No, I will try my best to make sure that doesn't happen because i already know from experiance how that affects kids

  16. 1.) What are legitmate reasons to get a divorce?
    your marrige sucks.
2.) What are the positive and negative effects of divorce?
positive- you don't have to deal with your annoying spouse anymore
negative- if you have kids it will be hard on them
3.) How do you personally feel about divorce? Explain.
i dont really think divorce is a good thing. i think if you don't love the person enough to be with them for the rest of your life, then you shouldn't marry them in the first place. i think sometimes people jump into things to fast.
4.) Do you think divorce is a benefit to society? Explain.
no. it can corrupt families and kids sometimes don't have a stable family when their parents are split.
5.) Do you think you will get a divorce someday? Why or Why not?
well no one thinks they will get a divorce. but my parents have been married for 18 years so im not used to step parents and things like that. so probably not

  17. 1. I think some legitmate reasons for getting divorced are aldultry, physical abuse, and child melastation.
    2. A positive affect of getting divorced would be to quit getting beaten if that was your situation. A negative affect of a divorce would be the hardship it would cause on you and the cost of lawyers and court fees.
    3. I think divorce is a good thing for certain people. If you aint happy and getting beat up all the time then its probably the best thing for you.
    4. It depends if theres kids involved. I had divorced parents my whole life and it sucks majorly.
    5. If I ever do get married Im going to try to make it work so hopefully not.

    ReplyDelete
  18. 1) I think the only legitimate reasons to get a divorce are the extream ones like abuse or
    molestation, or adultry.
2)Some positive effects could be that the wife or children could be getting away from an abusive husban. The greatest negitive effects are those on the children, the family being separated, feeling at fault for the divorce, only seeing one family at a time, etc.
3)I think its a really shameful thing to get married and make a lifetime commitment, then give up on it. But if there is something bad happening in the relationship than it is compleatly acceptable.
4)It could be a benifit to over population, i suppose you could say
5)If i get married, then im planning on being married for life, but you never know what could happen.

  19. 1. i think the only time to get divorced is that is has to be big like hurting others or that person is hurting you.
2.the negative reason for getting divorce is that you have to sign all the pappers and that if you have kids you have to deal with that.the positive side is that your with the person that loves you and care about you.
3.i personally really dont like divorces because its kinda like hurtful to say that you got divorced and then some people might say some thing and if you have kids then it might hurt them.
4.divorice isnt really a good thing but if it happens then it happens.
5.really i have no clue because the future is kinda hard to tell so hopefully not but if it happens then it just happens

  20. 1. abuse, abandonment, adultury
    2. positive - if you weren't happy before, you now have the chance to start again and try to find happiness.
negative - it could affect any children very negatively and give you sort of a reputation. in some churches, divorce is looked upon as a sin.
    3. i was raised believing that divorce is bad. my grandparents never divorced, and neither have my parents, but alot of my aunts have been married 2-4 times. i don't believe i will ever be divorced - i think whatever problems i may face, i can overcome together with my partner.
    4. the situation really depends. i see how it could be good for divorce lawyers and such, but as said before it could really hurt the children and parties involved. however, it can also teach children how to be stronger and be able to cope with difficult times such as those encountered when going through a divorce.
    5. i don't think i'll ever get a divorce - it's againsty my religion, i'm a roman catholic. i would get my marriage annulled if i were abused or something, but i trust my own judgement that i won't find a partner that would think of abusing/abandoning me.

    ReplyDelete
  21. 1.Legitimate reasons to get a divorce are abuse, abandonment, and adultry.
2.Some positive effects of divorce can be being away from the other person, possibly finding happiness again and some negative effects of divorce can be the strain on children, especially if they are young.
3.I don't really like divorce because it's stressful and you might never see one of your parents. If you married for lust and not love then it might be neccessary to get a divorce but maybe you should think about something like that before you get married. And of course, if you're being abused,it's best to get out of it as soon as you can.
4.I don't think it's a benefit to society because it doesn't really matter. It's a private situation and it should be kept that way.
5.I certainly hope not.I'm going to make sure to have the whole marriage discussion with my future husband and make sure it's the right thing to do.Since my parents are divorced,I'll make sure to work out any problems.

  22. 1. Abuse, cheating, abandoned, or if you and your spouse are just unhappy and always arguing
    2. positive effects: happiness, and the kid or kids could be happier b/c they get more christmas or birtday gifts, also if you were in a abusive relationship then a divorce would mean you would not have to suffer anymore of the abuse
negative effects: financially you might not beable to make it on your own, strain and stress on you and your kids
    3. personally i hate divorces, my parents are divorced so i know how much one of the parents suffer when the other parent leaves and how much a kid or kids suffer especially at a young age when their parents get divorced. always having to be sent to one parents house and back to the others, just a lot of stress on on your kids and they do not deserve, but i guess it is better for the parents to divorce than stay together and make everyone miserable.
    4. no b/c then if everyone thinks divorce is normal they won't take marriage as seriously when marriage is supposed to last until the day one of the people die
    5. nomaybe b/c my parents have divorced and most of my relatives have been through a divorce, so divorce is pretty common in my family, so i would think the odds of a divorce if i got married would be pretty high

    ReplyDelete
  23. 1. Legitimate reasons for divorce would be abuse, or just not being in love with the other person like you thought you were.

    2. Positive: you wont have to deal with that person anymore, and you will have learned from your mistakes. Negative: If you have kids then they would have to deal with the discomfort and there would be a huge argument over who gets to keep what.

    3. I feel that if a marraige is not working out and if the two people in the relationship arn't happy, the people should get divorced. Or if any kind of abuse is going on, that would be a reason to divorce.

    4. I do not think that divorce is a benefit to society because it could cause problems between friends and conflicts will happen alot.

    5. I dont think that I will ever get a divorce because I am going to make sure of the person that I marry and I am going to make sure that that person is the one that I love.

    ReplyDelete
  24. 1.) i think a legitimate reason for getting a divorse would be adultry and abuse. otherwise all you would have to do is work out problems.
2.) postitive effects of divorce would be that you wouldn't have to deal with the person anymore. and that it could be in the best interest for the person. a negative effect could be if you have children that it could be a negative impact on them. and it would be breaking up the family.
3.) i feel as if divorce shouldn't be an option. if you love somebody enough to marry them and you fall out of them there is always the chance to fall back in love with that person. i personally would wish to never get a divorce with the man i love.
4.) i realy don't think it would be a benefit to society. i mean if you have kids and get divorced with your baby daddy or mama and you hook up with another dude and have kids with that person.. later down the line your kids kids could meet up and they wouldn't even know they were related. INSEST!! and that's nasty.
5.) i really hope that i don;t ever get a divorce because i would want to be with the man i love for the rest of my life. if i ever even find that guy :/. but anyways it could cause serious damage if we would have kids together. other things too..

  26. 1. I believe any reason you have for wanting a divorce is a legitimate reason. Whose right is it to say you aren't allowed to separate from someone in a relationship. The reason people get married in the first place is to show the government that they are together and committed. A divorce is their way of showing they are not.
    2. Positive: relief from the strife and unhappiness of the marriage. Relief from whatever it was in the relationship that you wanted to divorce over.
Negative: change in all aspects of life: economic hardship, emotional grief and loneliness, scandal, breaking off of relationships.
    3. I think divorce is a hard thing to experience. It's such a messy business. Of course breaking up in general is hard. I honestly don't think I would ever get divorced. I'm so picky that when I do decide to get married it will be the right person. Nah mean?
    4. I believe that divorce is a right. No one can tell you that you have to be with someone. It is a benefit to society because of the setup of the American government: Life, Liberty, and the PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS. If you're not happy and you're not allowed to leave and become happy they are infringing on your rights.
    5. Oops. I didn't know this question was down here. No- look at #3 to see why :P

  28. 1)I think a legitamite reason would be abuse or something along those lines would be a pretty good reason.
2)Positive: If the couple has children they dont have to listen to their parents fight, the couples can go thier seperate ways.
Negative: If they have children it may be difficult for them to cope, financial problems, and children not being able to see both parents every day. But these are only a few of the effects.
3)I personally dont like divorce but it also depends on the situation. I dont look down upon those who are divorced because my mom and dad are divorced. I think its in the couples hands and its their decision.
4)Divorce can benifit a society it provides jobs, but it can also hurt the society.
5)I hope not my parents are divorced and i know divorced people and i see what it does. I hope i will marry someone that i know i want to spend the rest of my life with. I hope i will try to work out the problems with my husband so it doesnt come to a divorce.

2.) positive-two people are usually happy that their not fighting anymore
negative-puts you in a bad economic situation, less money and if you have children it is tough on them.
3.) i personally think that it is the couples choice, i dont care either way. only the two people in the relationship can decide whats best.
4.)no, divorce breaks up family units.

1.) yes if he beats you or cheats on you there is definatly a reason
2.) positive is that they dont have to be unhappy and fighting but negative would be splitting up the children if there were children involved
3.) i feel that if you are unhappy in your relationship you should work on it but sometimes your just not ment to be together
4.) not really i dont think it really solves much because if you divorce once its likely that you will divorce again
5.) i hope not thats why i dont want to get married cause then i dont have to get divorced

  32. 1. Abuse(physical or emotional) and cheating.
    2. Relief from the problems that came bout during the mariage. Now you can be single and find someone who makes you happy.
Possible financial problems and if their are children it usually drastically effects them.
    3. I don't disagree with it as long as its like legitament reason. In some cases I dont think some people should have gotten married. Its like some people turn to divorce too soon and dont try to work out the problems.
    4. I think thats a depends situation, if youre in an abusive situation or have been cheated on then thats not good for anyone to endure, so i believe thats not a benefit to society. But marriage also sets up that "perfect family" image. So i guess that makes people all warm and fuzzy inside.
    5. No. Because im not getting married.

  34. 1. Legitimate reasons to get a divorce are; when one spouse mentally or physically abuses the other or members of their family, or when one leaves the other.

    2. Positive effects: one person can get out of an abused relationship when one is hurting the other and when they get out of it they are no longer being hurt.
Negative effects: if the couple has kids then it could have a lasting impression on them, and possibly make the kids feel like it's their fault. The child could possibly go wayward without the other parent in their life.

    3. I don't agree with divorce unless one is getting hurt or one leaves the other. I think that if people are not getting along with each other then they are most likely not going to get along with anyone else they try to marry. If people get divorced just because they fight then that's wrong.

    4. I don't think that it is a benefit to society because it just makes us seem like we marry in a moment of passion and it makes our society look dumb. I mean in if someone marries in a moment of passion the they are most likely going to get a divorce. That makes us look like no one is ever going to succeed in a marriage and like we make stupid decisions.

    5. No, I definitely don't think that I will ever get a divorce one day because I will not be put in a situation where I have to; such as marry someone who beats me and hope he doesn't do it when we get married. I also will pick someone who loves me and if we fight then we will work it out and not get a divorce right away over a fight.

  35. 1.) What are legitmate reasons to get a divorce? i believe a legitimate reason for divorce is adultry. I believe if you say forever and get married , than you are with that person for the rest of your life and no one else. I believe that married couples get restless and distracted from their significant others and venture out to find excitment.
2.) What are the positive and negative effects of divorce? i believe there are both positive and negative effects of divorce. if the relationship is abusive than divorce would be positive. but if the marriage ends in divorce just because the couple stops trying than it would be negative.
3.) How do you personally feel about divorce? Explain. well, coming from a household with both parents, i don't really believe in divorce. only one person in my family has had a divorce and the effects of it have been devastating on his behalf. my parents are happily married and thats all i've ever known is for them to be together.
4.) Do you think divorce is a benefit to society? Explain. To society, no... it causes economic hardships and personal finances will suffer.
5.) Do you think you will get a divorce someday? Why or Why not? no.. if and when i get married i will have to make sure that i can live with them in love for the rest of my life, good times and bad. when i say forever, that means forever and i don't believe in divorce.

1.) What are legitmate reasons to get a divorce?
+Abuse, Sexual abuse, violent homes, etc.
    +Cheating, possibly.

2.) What are the positive and negative effects of divorce?
+Positive, you could get away from an abusive husband; negative, it causes frustration, confusion and rough years for children, and they often blame themselves.

3.) How do you personally feel about divorce? Explain.

I don't think you should get a divorce unless it is absoutely neccessary. If you are in an abusive relationship, i think you should get one, but i don't think people should get them "just because". Probably hypicritical? (spellcheck!)

4.) Do you think divorce is a benefit to society? Explain.
+No, i think it teaches people to run away fromtheir problems. I think divorce gives people the easy way out, "flight" instead of "fighting." I don't neccessarily believe in war, but I think if you are married for many years and then decide to get a divorce just because, its stupid. You shuold be fighting for your husband, for your other half.

5.) Do you think you will get a divorce someday? Why or Why not?
I really really hope not. If I did get a divorce, It would have to be really bad. I'd have to be in an abusive relationship, and I really hope I never have to go through something like that.

    ~Abuse

    2) What are the positive and negative effects of divorce?
~ Positive- parents could be happier and get along better.
Negative- Kids dont see one or both parents enough.

3)How do you personally feel about divorce? Explain.
~ I dont see how "love" can just stop or go away. I dont think divorce is good at all unless someone is being harmed.

    4) Do you think divorce is a benefit to society? expain.
    ~ No. causes more disagreements.

    5) Do you think you will get a divorce someday? Why or Why not?
~ As i said before, I dont like divorce. I dont think I could ever just Stop "loving" anyone! let alone someone Im willing to give the rest of my life to! Plus if I am going to spend the rest of my life with someone then I will! life is hard and if you marry someone then you start to need that person for "love" care, finacial things, and that is through out EVERYTHING life has to throw at you. I also dont think it is good for kids if there are any in the relationship. ( not counting any abuse)

  38. 1.) Unhappy realationships, Fighting all the time, Cheating, and Abuse (emotionaly or physically).
2.) Positive affects is that your not fighting and unhappy anymore. Negatives about divorce is you maybe lonely or depressed.
3.) I feel as if your unhappy and dont feel like you love that person like you did when you married them than you should end the mariage. If your happy in the realationship than be together. I dont care what people do, but you shouldn't marry unless that what you want deep down.
4.) I dont think it really is. I think it is worse for society but to others it might be.
5.) NO! because if i do get married it's going to be with the person i want to spend the rest of my life with.

  39. 1.) I think abuse and cheating are legitament reasons for divorce. I also think that if both people in the marriage are really unhappy they should get divorced because a marriage should be a happy part of your life and everyone deserves to have a happy marriage and if it takes a divorce to find your perfect marriage i think that is okay. i think i made that too wordy. haha
2.) the obvious negative is being without a spouse, i also think many people become depressed after a divorce. A positive could be the person getting out of a bad relationship and moving on to bigger and better things.
3.) Because my parents are divorced i want to strive to make my marriage work. its all about give and take so i think as long as you have a healthy relationship divorce will not be necessary but i do understand there are certain situations in which divorce is needed.
4.) No i think a divorce does too much damage to the people involved. Especially when there are children involved.
5.)i do not think i will. i watched my mom struggle after her and my dads divorce and i see how it effected her and i want to have a life partner to share my struggles with not have to handle them all by my lonsome (:

  40. 1.) What are legitmate reasons to get a divorce?

Well, if the spouse is cheating, an alcoholic who gets violent, domestic violence, unhealthy addictions and refusing to get help. Basically behavior sthat could have a negative influence on your children and or self.

2.) What are the positive and negative effects of divorce?

Well, the positvies is that you've got your "freedom" back, you dont have to deal with the spouses negative behaviors anymore, and finally you can be as selfish as you wont, only caring about yourself again. The negatives is you are taring apart your family, money issues, kids will have to deside who to stay with etc.

3.) How do you personally feel about divorce? Explain.

Well, i dont think divorce is nessisarily bad, if its for the right reasons. Some people think divorce is like buying a new house. The thing is you are doing something that not only effects you but your kids if you have them. My family has issues, but i dont think i'd want my parents to get a divorce. I know i've said it plenty of times before but now that i've reflected on it with a clear mind i dont think it would have a good effect on anything.

4.) Do you think divorce is a benefit to society? Explain.

I don't think it benefits society, because one, look at it today, we have divorce everywhere, its ridiculas. People have lost their responsibilty, they get married after a few months of knowing the person, find out they hate them, divorce, get money, loss money, screw up chidlrens lives, and then complain about their life. Its selfish and teaching the young minds that its okay to be this way.

5.) Do you think you will get a divorce someday? Why or Why not?

Actually i dont think i will get a divorce, mainly because i dont plan on getting married. But! If i did get married it wouldnt be until i was in my late 20's early 30's and i wouldnt do it for impulse. I'd marry someone who i knew was a good person, and could spend my life with.

    1.) adultery and abuse
2.) positive would be that if you were in an abusive relationship, you're out of it. but negative would be having to learn to be on your own again..finances would be tougher with one paycheck and just the emotional stresses that come with leaving someone you said you were going to spend your life with.
3.) i don't think you should ever divorce unless your in an abusive relationship or there's adultery involved. otherwise you made a commitment with that person to be with them until you die and it should be honored.
4.) it could be, sure. there's now two people buying things separately, so instead of buying one tv from best buy you're buying two. which of course benefits society on an economic level. but as for a social level, i don't believe there really is a worthy benefit to it.
5.) definitely not. marriage is something sacred. and i'm not going to make that commitment to someone only to break it. when i say to death til i part to someone, i'm going to mean it.

I don't know. Honestly I think if it isn't then society will find some way to manipulate it into being one.
5.) Do you think you will get a divorce someday? Why or Why not?
Hmm, I don't plan on getting married since I find that an unnecessary situation but for the sake it's possibility yes. I can be a very difficult person to get along with and usually the smallest bit of negativity in a person can bother me.

3.) I dont condone it but if there is a truly legitimate reason get a divorce. However if the person is unfaithful they should try to work it out first.
4.) Probably not, seeing as how families are being torn apart and people are marrying over and over and divorcing again.
5.) I hope I dont get a divorce and I believe I will not. I am going to marry for love and marriage is supposed to be until one person or both persons die. Plus any problems that come our way will be worked out.

Neg: it causes financial problems and splits up families
3)It is a persons choice. If they feel like they need a divorce then they should get one.
    4) It could be it just depends on the situation.
    5) I don't want to. but then again i don't really want to get married either so if i don't get married then i don't have to worry about it

3.) Personally, I feel like America has abused the sacred passage of marriage. It makes me very angry that homosexuals cannot be united in marriage, but two people that will abuse the system and get divorced in a matter of months can.
4.) I believe that divorce can be helpful to society but only in instances of abuse. If we took away hasty divorce laws, then maybe people would be more serious about their decision of marriage.

3.) Personally if you are in a marriage and there is no abuse, you love each other, and just have differences that arent outrageous then yu should try to work them out and not just get a divorce, now if something is wrong and abuse and cheating are present then i definitely think a divorce is necessary.
